Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of AIDA software and Autafy services ("Services") provided by Autafy, Edmonton, Alberta, Canada ("Autafy," "we," "us," or "our").

By purchasing a license, starting a free trial, or using our services in any way, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use our services.

2. Description of Service

AIDA is a self-hosted personal AI agent software. When you purchase a license, you receive the right to run AIDA on your own server or computer. AIDA connects to third-party services (Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, Telegram) using your own credentials and API keys.

Autafy also offers optional setup services and custom automation builds as separate service agreements.

3. Free Trial

• New users may access AIDA for a 5-day free trial period
• No credit card is required to start a trial
• Trial access is limited to one per person/organization
• After the trial period, a paid license is required to continue using AIDA
• We reserve the right to modify trial terms at any time

4. Payment & Billing

Self-Hosted License ($197 CAD one-time): A single payment grants you a perpetual license to run AIDA on one server. Your license key is bound to one server at a time. To migrate to a new server, contact hello@autafy.ca.

Autafy Setup ($497 CAD one-time): A professional setup service where Autafy installs and configures AIDA on your server. Includes the self-hosted license.

Setup Service ($497 one-time): Covers installation and configuration as described at the time of purchase. This is a service fee, not a recurring charge.

All prices are in USD. Stripe handles payment processing securely.

5. Refund Policy

We offer a 7-day money-back guarantee on all licenses. If you're not satisfied within 7 days of purchase, contact us at hello@autafy.ca for a full refund — no questions asked.

Setup service fees are non-refundable once work has commenced. If we are unable to complete the setup due to our error, a full refund will be issued.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use AIDA or Autafy services to:

• Violate any applicable law or regulation
• Send spam, phishing, or unsolicited communications
• Infringe on the intellectual property rights of others
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, disassemble, or extract source code from the AIDA software or Docker image
• Resell, sublicense, redistribute, share, or publicly host the AIDA software, Docker image, or license keys
• Use the service in ways that could harm Autafy or its users

7. Intellectual Property

AIDA software, the Autafy name, logo, and all related materials are the intellectual property of Autafy. Your license grants you the right to use AIDA for your personal or business purposes — it does not transfer ownership.

Content you create using AIDA (emails, documents, automations) remains your property.

8. Limitation of Liability

AIDA is provided "as is." While we work hard to ensure reliability, Autafy is not liable for:

• Data loss resulting from server issues on your infrastructure
• Service interruptions from third-party APIs (Google, Microsoft, Anthropic, Telegram)
• Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the service

Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount you paid for your license in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Service Modifications

We reserve the right to modify, update, or discontinue any aspect of AIDA or Autafy services with reasonable notice. For significant changes that affect paid features, we will provide at least 30 days notice.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Alberta, Canada, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Alberta, Canada.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We'll notify you of material changes via email or by posting a notice on autafy.ca. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance.
