AIDA by Autafy

Available Tools

AIDA has a comprehensive set of built-in tools, integrations, and plugins. All tools are available through natural conversation — just ask AIDA to do something and it will use the right tool automatically.

Built-in Tools

These tools work out of the box with no additional setup.

Weather

Get current weather and forecasts for any location worldwide. Uses Open-Meteo — completely free, no API key needed.

"What's the weather in Edmonton today?" "Will it rain this weekend in Vancouver?"

Search the internet for current information. Configure Tavily (free, 1,000 searches/month) or SearXNG (free, unlimited) in Settings. See the Web Search Setup guide.

"Search for the latest news on AI" "What's the current Bitcoin price?"

Current Time

Get the current date and time in any timezone.

"What time is it in Tokyo right now?" "What's today's date?"

File Creator

Create plain-text files and save them to the server — .txt, .md, .csv, .json, .html, .py and similar. Useful for notes, task lists, data exports and simple reports. For Excel, Word, PowerPoint or PDF files, AIDA uses Code Execution instead.

"Create a text file with my task list" "Save this summary as a report"

Code Execution

Run Python code directly. Useful for calculations, data processing, charts and automation — and this is how AIDA makes Excel (.xlsx), Word (.docx), PowerPoint (.pptx) and PDF files.

"Calculate the compound interest on $10,000 at 5% for 10 years" "Write and run a script to sort this data" "Create an Excel file with 3 rows of sample sales data" "Make a one-page PDF titled Q3 Summary"

Image Generation

Generate an image from a text prompt. AIDA uses the OpenAI, Gemini, OpenRouter or xAI API key you have saved in Settings — regardless of which chat provider is active. Ask it to create, generate, draw or make an image, picture, logo, illustration, poster, wallpaper, icon, banner or artwork. Images are 1024×1024 by default; ask for portrait (1024×1536) or landscape (1536×1024), and for up to 4 variations. The image appears right in the chat — click it to open it full-size.

"Draw a minimalist logo for a bakery called Crumb" "Generate a landscape wallpaper of a mountain lake at sunrise, 3 variations"

Where your files go. Files AIDA creates appear as download cards in the web chat. Click a card's name to open or preview it — spreadsheets and CSV preview inline, PDFs open in a new tab, images open full-size — or use the ↓ button to download. On a phone, PDF cards show an Open PDF button that hands the file to your device's PDF app. On Telegram, Discord and WhatsApp, files arrive as real attachments (CSV typed as CSV on WhatsApp); a file over the channel's size limit comes as a download link instead. OneDrive, SharePoint, Google Drive, Docs, Sheets and Slides are used only when you name them — otherwise the file comes to the chat.

Voice & File Attachments

These work right from the chat bar — no setup needed.

Talk to AIDA (Voice Input)

Click the microphone button in the chat bar, speak, and your words are transcribed into the message box. Useful when you'd rather talk than type.

Hear Replies Aloud (Voice Output)

Click the speaker button to have AIDA read its responses out loud. Toggle it off anytime to go back to silent replies.

Read Documents & Images (Attachments)

Click the paperclip button (or drag a file into the chat) to attach a document or image. AIDA reads the contents and answers questions about it — right in the conversation.

  • Images & screenshots — AIDA reads the text and describes what's shown
"What's the total on this receipt, and what category should I file it under?"
  • PDFs & documents — AIDA reads the file and works with it
"Give me the 3 key takeaways from this PDF"
This reads a file in the moment. To build a permanent, searchable library of documents AIDA can reference anytime, use the Knowledge Base instead.
